A session fee is needed to secure your shoot upon booking - this includes your photoshoot time, full use of my props & full editing of your final images - no images are included with this. Products will need to be purchased on top of your session fee.

What you need to know…

WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE ME

With the training I have had from a number of international newborn photographers I am always developing my skills with photography, but one factor that always remains is that your newborn baby is safe. Please keep in mind when choosing a newborn photographer whether they have had correct training and know how to pose your little one safely. You can find more information about this over at my blog section.

You spend around 41 weeks waiting for your baby to arrive, next minute you know you're holding a tiny little person in your arms in awe wondering how you ever lived without them. The weeks will fly by and before you know it, your baby has grown out of their 'newborn stage' with their teeny toes, and wispy fresh baby hairs.

Let me document the beginning of your new chapter! 

WHEN TO BOOK

I would recommend booking in after your 20 week scan, we can never guarantee when the baby will arrive so I pencil your due date in my diary so your booking is confirmed. The most suitable time for your newborn session is the 5-14 day period after baby has been born. I do photograph babies up to 21 days new, if for any reason we had to capture baby a little older than expected this is no problem. During the 'newborn' stage of 14 days & under your little one is at their most sleepiest, and not as alert - we have more chance of capturing moments when they are peaceful, snuggled up and posed. 

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR SESSION

My newborn sessions last 2- 4 hours, and you can use this as a time to relax, sit back and watch the magic happen. You may come in handy when baby needs a spotter, this is for safety precautions if baby is in a prop or a pose I will need a hand with. All my newborn sessions take place on a weekday at 10am in my home studio in Rainham, Essex and include family and sibling shots, if you so wish, at no extra cost. 

I provide all newborn props, outfits and backdrops, all you will need to bring with you to your newborn session is the babies feed and plenty of it! 

I will email you a Newborn Prep Packet before you're due to attend the studio, this will have much more in depth information of what to expect, what to wear for family shots, how to help keep baby awake before our shoot, my address and much more. These sessions are baby led, so if they are more alert/awake then I would capture baby like this and try all my tricks to get them back to sleep :)

All clients will be emailed a preparation list once baby has arrived to ensure you fully know what to expect for your session.

WHERE I AM BASED

I do all my sessions from my home studio in RM13 - Rainham, Essex. I will give my address before you are due to attend your photoshoot. I don't do home visits or location sessions, if for any reason you are unable to get to me once baby is born we can arrange a date when you are able to.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Your £99 deposit is needed to secure your session. Packages are purchased on top of this.

• Prices are subject to change without notice, but will be honoured once booking is complete.

• Deposit is non refundable. If you choose not to purchase any items at your viewing your deposit is still non refundable. The deposit price is for your photoshoot only and doesn’t include any images. You may move the session date once, moving again will result in another session of £99 payment.

• You will be invited back to the studio 2-3 weeks following your shoot to view your gallery and choose your final products.

• There is a 3 week turnaround on receiving your images.

• Platinum packages with credit’s for wall art must be used 30 days from your session, after this time they become void.
